We hope you have been enjoying the long weekend! Just a reminder, school resumes tomorrow at 8 a.m. for a regular school day.
As we are experiencing colder weather tomorrow morning, we want to ensure our students are prepared for the chill. Here are some tips to help everyone bundle up and stay warm:
π§₯Layer Up: Dress in layers to trap heat. A thermal shirt, sweater, and a winter jacket are recommended.
π§€Hats and Gloves: Don't forget to wear a hat to retain body heat, and gloves to protect your hands from the cold.
π§¦π₯ΎWarm Footwear: Ensure your student wears warm and insulated footwear to keep their feet cozy. Or, wear two pairs of socks.
π§£Scarves: A scarf can be a great addition to keep the neck warm. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.
Should any weather developments happen overnight we will notify families first via ClassTag. We look forward to seeing our students back in school tomorrow! π¦

This week's Soaring Eagle recipient is William Phillips. π¦
Mr. Phillips is one of our awesome admins at PHS. He makes himself extremely visible to students and teachers around campus. He is always there to help in any way he can. A couple of our colleagues had this to say about Mr. Phillips, "(1) He is always on the ready to lend a helping hand, and has a good rapport with students which allows for CKH redirection. An asset to PBTISD, especially PHS. (2) Charismatic go-getter who always puts students first! I've watched this young man's career from substitute to assistant principal and one common thread is how he treats others!" Thank you, Mr. Phillips! You're a rockstar!

Herff Jones will be on campus Thursday, 12/20/23, from 11:10a-1:20p delivering SENIOR RINGS!
The balance must be paid in full to receive the ring. Also, SENIORS who have NOT purchased their cap/gown, for graduation, will be able to order/purchase those during the same time frame.
Remember, Friday, December 22 is an Early Release Day at 12:30 p.m.! Students will be served lunch before dismissal.π¦
