What an incredible third day of Goodies with Grandparents at Zavala Elementary! 🎉 Our fourth graders had a blast sharing special moments, laughter, and sweet treats with their grandparents. The bond between generations was truly heartwarming, and it's clear this event has become a big hit! Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us to make these memories so special for our kids. Here's to more fun and cherished moments in the last day of the event tomorrow for 5th graders! 💛 Remember, it would be helpful to bring your grandchild with you to school if possible. This helps grandparents and grandchildren to fully enjoy their time without having to wait for students to arrive and get to the gym to join them. In order to accommodate the adults and students in each grade, each student is limited to 2 adult grandparents only. Goodies with Grandparents for 3rd grade was great! What a great way to start our Tuesday morning! Yesterday, the kids at Zavala proudly wore red, white, and blue to honor the memory of those who lost their lives on 9/11 and to show gratitude for the bravery of first responders. It was a beautiful sight to see so many young hearts coming together in remembrance and unity.
