"I am excited to begin this new chapter as Executive Director of Elementary Schools for PBTISD," Birch said. "I look forward to supporting the outstanding students, staff, and leaders at both Austin and Zavala Elementary as we work together to continue building strong learning environments and improving student outcomes."

She added that her connection to the district remains a driving force behind her work.

"I am proud to continue supporting and giving back to the district and community that has played such an important role in shaping me both personally and professionally," Birch said. "I am grateful for the opportunity to serve PBTISD in this new role and am eager to continue building on the great work happening across our elementary campuses."

Birch said her leadership philosophy has remained consistent throughout her career and will continue guiding her work in her new position.

"My leadership has always been rooted in a simple reminder that has remained posted in my classroom and office throughout my career: 'Every Student, Every Day, Whatever It Takes!'" Birch said. "That commitment will continue to guide my work as we strive to ensure every child receives the support, opportunities, and high-quality education they deserve."w
