Pre-K

PBTISD offers high-quality early childhood education through two Pre-K programs designed to meet the developmental needs of young learners. Our half-day Pre-K3 program is available through the Discovery School Daycare, providing a nurturing, engaging environment for our youngest students. At Austin Elementary, we offer a full-day Pre-K4 program focused on school readiness, with an emphasis on literacy, social-emotional growth, and foundational academic skills.

Both programs have different requirements and qualifications. If you are interested in enrolling your student, see below for more information.

Pre-K4

PBTISD’s Pre-K 4 Program is FREE for all students, providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Aligned with TEA curriculum, our program emphasizes mindfulness, social-emotional development, and leadership skills, ensuring students are prepared for academic success. Through play, structured lessons, and hands-on experiences, children develop essential skills in language and literacy, math, science, and social-emotional growth. A study by Raise Your Hand Texas found that children who attend preschool are 54% more likely to be kindergarten-ready. Give your child a strong start with PBTISD’s high-quality early education programs!
