It’s #NationalPoliceWeek, and we are proud to celebrate our very own! 👮‍♀️🦅👮‍♂️

When you see our officers or any law enforcement personnel, be sure to thank them for their service — this week and every week.

Thank you for protecting our students, staff, and schools at PBTISD. We appreciate all you do! 💜🤍💛

🥪☀️🍎 Summer meals are getting an upgrade at PBTISD!

This summer, PBTISD plans to offer FREE 4-day and 3-day meal kits for ALL children ages 0–18 — and everything pictured is included in ONE meal kit for ONE child. That's right, families will receive a meal kit for EACH child in the household! 🦅

Meal kits will include breakfast, lunch, snacks, fresh produce, cold items, and frozen items intended to be prepared and eaten at home.

🗓️ Distribution begins May 28, then every Monday & Thursday until July.
📝 Registration is required so we can prepare enough meals for each location.

Let us know if your interested and to receive the registration form directly to your inbox!👉 https://trst.in/VYAxNw

We ended our Fantastic Friday by celebrating the heart of our school—our amazing staff! 💜 Our teachers have been working hard internalizing our new curriculum, our office staff has been keeping everything running smoothly, our support staff has been going above and beyond for our kids, and our custodians have been working nonstop to keep our building clean and welcoming. To show a little appreciation, we surprised them with Sonic drinks to wrap up the week on a sweet note! 🥤✨ We are so thankful for each of you who make Zavala such a special place for our students. 🌟🦅

What an incredible third day of Goodies with Grandparents at Zavala Elementary! 🎉 Our fourth graders had a blast sharing special moments, laughter, and sweet treats with their grandparents. The bond between generations was truly heartwarming, and it's clear this event has become a big hit! Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us to make these memories so special for our kids. Here's to more fun and cherished moments in the last day of the event tomorrow for 5th graders! 💛 Remember, it would be helpful to bring your grandchild with you to school if possible. This helps grandparents and grandchildren to fully enjoy their time without having to wait for students to arrive and get to the gym to join them. In order to accommodate the adults and students in each grade, each student is limited to 2 adult grandparents only. After you RSVP, please bring your ID to check in. *Note: All grandparents must park on 11th street and enter the building through door 10.
