Hello PBTISD Families,
Transparency and communication with our staff and families are a priority for PBTISD. The Board of Trustees held a special meeting yesterday evening, resulting in some important leadership updates for our district. Thank you for taking a moment to read this update.
During the meeting, the Board convened in executive session to review matters related to the superintendent’s employment. Following that discussion, the Board voted to engage JCA Law Firm to conduct a third-party review of district operations. Additionally, the Board voted to place the superintendent on administrative leave during this review and appointed me to serve as acting Superintendent during this time.
I understand that updates like this can bring questions of uncertainty. In times like these, We are committed to remaining focused on what matters most: our students, your children. You all put your trust in us to care and educate your children every single day.
PBTISD will continue to move forward with purpose and stability. My priority is to support our staff and ensure our work remains centered on your students’ success.
