Homecoming Parade

The 2026 Pecos High School Homecoming Parade will take place Thursday, September 24, beginning promptly at 6:00 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Welcome to Eaglewood!” Participants are encouraged to decorate their floats and vehicles with a Hollywood-inspired theme and help bring Eaglewood to life in Pecos.

Floats will begin gathering on the right side of Second Street at 5:15 p.m.
Floats will line up in the order they arrive. Parade order is first come, first served.
The Pecos High School Student Council float will be the final float in the parade.
The parade will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. on S. Eddy Street. Floats will continue south on S. Eddy Street until W. Jefferson Street, where they will turn right and continue to the visitor-side parking lot at Eagle Stadium.
All floats, decorations and trash must be removed from the parking lot after the parade has concluded so the area can be prepared for the Homecoming football game the following day.

PBTISD recognizes there are many local elections taking place this fall. However, because the Homecoming Parade is a school-sponsored event, candidates for any election may not use the parade or their participation in the parade as an opportunity to campaign.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Distributing campaign cards, flyers, or other campaign materials;
Throwing or handing out candy or other items in connection with a campaign;
Displaying campaign signs, banners, or other campaign advertisements on vehicles, golf carts, floats, or other parade entries;
Wearing or displaying campaign-related materials intended to promote a candidacy; or
Engaging in other activities designed to solicit votes or promote a candidate during the school-sponsored event.

Candidates are welcome to attend and enjoy the Homecoming Parade as community members; however, please refrain from any campaign-related activity while attending the event.

All community members are encouraged to come out, cheer loud, and help us rally behind our Eagles during the Pep Rally at 7:15 PM!
